In 2008, Cartier paid tribute to China with a limited edition fountain. The edition was limited to 888 pieces worldwide. This pen is remarkable low in number- #004/888!!!!
The pen is composed of a black lacquer cap and barrel. It is decorated with rigorous geometric shapes and poetic motifs in yellow gold. The cap is topped with engraved coral and the bottom of the barrel also has a piece of coral.
This is a brand new and unused pen. It has never been inked or dipped. It is complete with the outer box, display box, pen stand, and paperwork. Please look over the images carefully as they are of the actual item for sale.
