This masterpiece displays inlay of the tiniest pieces of varied colors of mother of pearl that are precisely placed into geometric patterns in perfect precision and synergy adorned with 18 karat Gold powders and exquisite patterns of colored Urushi.

The Splendors of the Orient is AP Limited Editions' most ambitious creation thus far. It is a large eyedropper fountain pen from the Maki-e Connoisseur Series. It has been authored by world-renowned Maki-e artist: Kosetsu San, also known as Tatsuya Todo. 

This pen is a marvel in Maki-e with the very highest levels of Maki-e technique on the pen.
