Danitrio often depicts many aspects of Japanese Culture within its creations, and the Japanese Crested Ibis is no exception. Before the 20th century, this beautiful bird could be seen in many parts of Japan.

Efforts have been made in conservations during the years to prevent its extinction. This piece features a light and beautiful depiction of three Ibis birds through the use of elaborate Chinkin art and Maki-e.
