The case has two 2.5-inch recessed wheels, built to withstand excessive wear and tear. The wheels sit into the body of the case to be able to take higher forces of impact.
Retractable Full-Aluminum Trolley & Housing
Manufactured from aviation-grade aluminum, the trolley bar retracts into an aluminum housing. The high-fatigue strength of the trolley prevents it from bucking or compressing.
The top handle bar of the trolley is wrapped in Italian full-grain leather.
Full 5052 Aluminum Case with Impact Bearing Ridges
The core structure of the case is constructed from aviation-grade 5052 aluminum, a non-heat treatable aluminum alloy that can bear a weight load comparable to steel alloys. Over 50,000 tons of hydraulic pressure is used to bend and corrugate the aluminum sheets.
5052 aluminum is used in the construction of planes due to its durability, load-carrying capabilities and corrosion resistance.
