Crafted from solid bronze. This pen comes with an 18k gold medium sized nib.

The Palais Garnier, also known as the Opérade Parisor Opéra Garnier, but more commonly as the Paris Opéra, is a 2,200-seat opera house on the Place de l'Opérain Paris, France, which was the primary home of the Paris Opera from 1875 until 1989. A grand landmark designed by Charles Garnier in the Neo-Baroque style, it is regarded as one of the architectural masterpieces of its time.

Fashioned from bronze, each pen & base take shape in the hands of the artist. It is chased, engraved, polished and finished with a gold colored patina. The column engraving is inspired by the friezes that decorate the building in Paris at the end of the French 17th century. S.T. Dupont brand is engraved on the top of the pen under the dome and on the base.

The number 12/30 is engraved on the pen following the S.T. Dupont engraving on the top of the pen and on the base. The images are of the actual pen and contents.
