AP Limited Editions presents Circles; a beautifully crafted Maki-e feature with Aogai shells.

Set against a backdrop of lustrous Black Urushi lacquer; Aogai shells are used to craft overlapping Circles. Aogai include silver lipped Pearl Oyster Shell, Blue Abalone Shell, Nautilus Shell and Great Green Turban Shell used intricately in Maki-e Lacquer Art. The shiny, burnished finish is achieved through the use of Togidashi Maki-e.
