"Bai-shou are Chinese traditional allegorical characters. These one hundred "shou" characters are round, square or rectangular; there are also several small "shou" characters written within a larger "shou" character. Most of the fonts are traditional scripts called Lishu, which denote a regular script or a mixture of several fonts. These longevity pictures displayed here are composed of different shapes of "shou" characters. It produces a unique artistic effect, giving people a feeling of magnificence and profound meaning.
