In honor of one of the great monarchs on the czarist thrones. Montblanc presents Peter I. the Great. Issued in 1997 this worldwide limited edition of 888 pieces offers a uniqueness guaranteed by Montblanc.

This exclusive writing instrument is firmly rooted in the traditional craftsmanship of the goldsmiths at the czarist court: its cap is crowned by 15 exquisite emeralds, the dark-green body of "Peter I. the Great" is encircled by finely worked ornaments of 750 white gold.

The 18 carat gold nib has been hand-ground and engraved with a subject from the rich imagery of the area of the czars.
