Each 1995 Dragon undergoes several manual finishing applications including hand engraving, antiquing, and polishing by Montegrappa's artisans. The dragons are portrayed in a solid gold or sterling silver overlay and brought to life by the shimmering gaze of individually set ruby eyes. The final step is to attach a platinum plated 18k gold nib designed to be extremely flexible and provide effortless performance. Each creation is then set to rest in a luxurious black lacquer presentation box inlaid with a dragon medallion.
