The Platinum 3776 Urushi lacquered Maki-e Hamamatsu shows a Coast line with Pine trees. Each piece is signed by the artist and contains urushi lacquer over resin body. Like the other 3776 pens, the cap features the slip and seal mechanism to prevent the pen from drying out prematurely.

The pen features a very smooth-writing 18k gold nib available in Medium point.  The Platinum 3776 Hamamatsu fountain pen fills with the included proprietary converter for use with bottled ink, or with Platinum cartridges, available in several colors. The pen is presented in a its original wooden gift box.
