The USS Texas (BB-35) is a retired Navy Ship that operated in both World War I and World War II. She was commissioned March 12, 1914 and was retired in 1948. The ship now rests in Houston about 40 minutes from Dromgoole's at the San Jacinto Monument.
Because of the large stature of the ship, we thought it would be a great fit for a Retro 51 Big Shot. The pen features a bird's eye view of the ship, and the finial of the pen is a combination of the United States and Texas flags.
