Visconti proudly introduces the new Millennium Arc, a collection that represents a step forward in fountain pen design. Since 1920, writing instrument design was strongly influenced by current architecture, mirroring the lifestyle of the times. Today, innovative design is extremely difficult to achieve for an instrument like the fountain pen, which is traditionally linked to a "Golden Age" of the pen design ( 1920-1950).
Visconti's New Concept Design (NCD) introduces new parameters in pen design, blending elements of the past with styling focused on the future. The Millennium Arc Collection is produced in three new demo colors - each color representing a different millennium. Both the clip and the filling mechanism are arc shaped, symbolizing the merger of the arc of time with the arc of history - time in motion for 2000 years. The arc represents the continuity of time, from the past to the future.
We know that without a past there can be no future, because nothing can be created, nothing can be destroyed, and what goes around comes around. This unique pen design features a clear silicon rubber sac with 100 years guarantee against ink corrosion. Each design is beautiful and elegant, each with a different metal trim: ruthenium, gold and platinum. Topped off with a stunning 18 carat gold nib. The collection is limited to 1000 pieces per "Millennium"
