Visconti began making filigree-style pens back in 1993 with the launch of the Visconti Uffizi pen and perfected the art with the Skeleton and the Ripple. This process takes months of work to design and achieve the intricate details that go into the pen.
With the Visconti Watermark pen, the decision was made to create a filigree design using the Visconti logo. The logo is repeated along the cap and barrel of the pen and is the reason for the name ‘Watermark’.
This pen design, just like a watermark identifies with the Visconti brand. The filigree is made from a solid sterling silver tube that is cut with the design, taking over 20 manual operations to complete.
The edition is limited to 888 pens in each type: rollerball, or fountain. The fountain pen comes with a large 23kt Dream touch nib with the Visconti Double Reservoir Power Filler filling system.
This particular pen for sale comes fitted with a Medium point nib.
