This is a beautiful vintage, new old stock, Waterman Liaison mechanical pencil. It features a sleek black resin with gold-plated trimmings. The pencil uses a lead size of 0.7mm and comes packaged in a traditional blue Waterman presentation box. 

The Waterman Carène was released approximately 20 years ago. It's model was inspired by luxury boat designs and features a smooth lacquer barrel.

The silver-plated cap comes with a 23-karat gold clip and trims. Crafted in France.
